A strong healthy marriage is the foundation of a strong healthy family. There is a great assault on both marriage and family. During 2-n-1 Summits “real” life, everyday issues are discussed. Couples will reconnect with each other. They’ll laugh together and might even cry a little too. There will be lots of fun and interaction. You will have the time of your life and leave ready to go on a date. Remember…Holy spouse, holy HOUSE!

Pastor Alfred and Dr. Irma Townsend have been married over 39 years and work extensively with couples. The family was the first institution God created long before He created the church. God revealed the devil’s trick to the Townsends: “Destroy the family to destroy the church.” Therefore, He simultaneously gave them a mandate: “Arm couples with the weapons needed to protect their marriages and families on all fronts.” Thus, 2-n-1 Marriage Summits were birthed.

Summit Description:

• Scripturally based
• Both spouses must attend together
• Not church as “usual” (casual attire, open discussion, and music for couples)
• Addresses couples on all three levels:  body, soul, and spirit
• Discusses “real” couple and family issues
• Interactive and participatory
• Each Summit is intended to address at least 15 to 30 couples
• Summit duration: 8:30 am to 1:00 pm typically on a Saturday. Dates and times can be adjusted.
