About Pastor Alfred Townsend

Pastor T brings decades of leadership, mentorship, and public service to his role. He holds a Master of Science in Animal Sciences from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tuskegee University. Over the course of a distinguished 38-year career in federal service, he published numerous scientific articles and retired as Chief of the Environmental Division.

A passionate advocate for strong families, Pastor T facilitates the Fatherhood Initiative, focusing on the well-being of children by promoting responsible and Godly fatherhood. He is committed to helping men grow into leaders within their homes and communities—as husbands, fathers, providers, protectors, and spiritual guides.

About Dr. Irma Townsend

Dr. T is a champion of education, personal development, and transformational leadership. She holds three degrees from Auburn University: a Doctor of Education in Counselor Education, a Master of Education in School Counseling, and a Bachelor of Science in Speech and English. She also holds certification in school administration from Troy University.

With over 30 years of experience in education, Dr. T has served in a range of leadership roles including teacher, guidance counselor, principal, director of human resources, and assistant superintendent. Currently, she mentors early-career K–12 principals and works extensively with individuals seeking growth and clarity. As a Highlands Certified Consultant, she helps clients identify their innate abilities and overcome barriers to success in both life and work.

Her life’s work is rooted in addressing the needs of the whole person—emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
